BIM Coordinator

About the role

Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support information management across major highways and power infrastructure projects in the UK. The role will be based in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow or another UK office and will work within a multidisciplinary BIM Group.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design information and BIM deliverables, ensuring compliance with client and project requirements.
• Apply company and project BIM standards, conduct audits, validation and quality checks.
• Support project teams in understanding BIM tools, workflows and documentation such as BEPs and TIDPs.
• Identify and resolve coordination issues using appropriate BIM software.
• Lead the development of Revit libraries and families.
• Contribute to BIM Execution Plans, Task Information Delivery Plans and other project BIM documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge across the business.
• Drive continuous improvement of BIM practices and internal processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience coordinating BIM on infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and related industry standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and support information management.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit (including library/family creation)
• Navisworks
• Bentley software (desirable)
