Branch Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a growing home‑improvement business to find a hands‑on Branch Manager for their South Croydon location. You will be at the centre of daily operations, leading a small team, supporting customers and ensuring the branch runs smoothly in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small branch team.
• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations and workflow.
• Handle customer enquiries, support sales activity and provide face‑to‑face assistance when required.
• Manage incoming calls, emails and general communications.
• Coordinate installation schedules and job planning.
• Monitor deliveries, support stock handling and goods‑in processes.
• Assist with hands‑on operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain high standards of service, organisation and efficiency.
• Support the team to meet performance and service targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong background in sales and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable with a hands‑on, operational role when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
