Branch Manager – Watford

About the role

Our client, a well‑established home improvement specialist, is seeking a proactive Branch Manager to lead their Watford depot. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and driving growth within the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily running of the Watford branch, including staff scheduling and workflow management.
• Lead, motivate and support a small team to achieve sales and service targets.
• Handle customer enquiries, process sales orders and coordinate installations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor stock levels, manage deliveries and ensure accurate order fulfilment.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous management, supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Organised, able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Confident when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Sales‑focused attitude with a proactive approach.
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using email for business communication.
• Familiarity with order management systems.
