Bricklayer – £24/hr Temporary Position in Sunderland

About the role
We are looking for an experienced bricklayer to join a construction site in Sunderland on a short‑term basis, paid at £24 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Laying bricks, blocks and stone according to technical drawings and project specifications.
- Constructing clean, plumb and level walls, extensions or structural faces.
- Mixing mortar to the correct consistency and ensuring precise jointing and pointing.
- Collaborating efficiently with labourers and site management to meet deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and adhering to site safety standards.
Required profile
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full personal protective equipment (boots, hi‑vis, hard hat) and own trade hand tools.
- Proven experience in commercial or residential bricklaying.
- Reliable, punctual and highly detail‑oriented.
