Business Development Executive – Telesales (Commercial Interiors)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive new business in the commercial interiors, office fit‑out and refurbishment market. Based in our Poole office, you will combine proactive telesales with relationship building to secure high‑quality appointments for our Business Development and Pre‑Construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact prospective end‑user clients across the office fit‑out and refurbishment sector.
• Generate a minimum of three qualified client appointments each week.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of projects, updating CRM records with accurate notes.
• Research target businesses, office moves and project triggers to uncover sales opportunities.
• Engage senior decision‑makers such as facilities managers, operations directors and business owners.
• Qualify opportunities by assessing requirements, budgets, timelines and decision‑making processes.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Pre‑Construction teams to hand over qualified leads.
• Support email campaigns, follow‑up calls and broader sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of telesales experience with a proven record of booking appointments.
• Experience engaging directly with senior decision‑makers in a B2B environment.
• Knowledge of the commercial interiors, office fit‑out or construction sector is highly advantageous.
• Confident, resilient and target‑driven with excellent organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a CRM system to track activities and opportunities.
• Strong telephone manner and ability to build rapport quickly.
