Business Development Manager – Digital Transformation

About the role

The role is a Business Development Manager focused on digital transformation, helping organisations modernise operations through innovative technology solutions. You will work with SMEs to enterprise clients, building trusted relationships and delivering measurable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across SME, mid‑market and enterprise organisations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client objectives, challenges and digital maturity.
• Present tailored solutions in automation, cloud services, AI, analytics and business applications.
• Build long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to develop solution proposals.
• Maintain an active pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B technology, SaaS, consultancy or digital transformation sales.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership teams.
• Consultative sales approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
• Desirable: experience selling automation, cloud, AI, ERP, CRM or data solutions and understanding professional services environments.
