About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join an award‑winning multi‑channel food manufacturer operating across the South of England. This field‑based sales role will focus on managing existing key accounts while building a pipeline of new foodservice customers such as restaurants and takeaways.
Key responsibilities
- Manage core wholesaler and retail accounts throughout the South of England.
- Identify and develop new foodservice prospects, including restaurants and takeaway outlets.
- Expand the market presence of the manufacturer within the foodservice sector.
- Conduct regular on‑site visits and travel to customer locations.
Required profile
- Previous experience working for a wholesaler or food manufacturing company.
- Proven success selling to restaurants, takeaways, or other foodservice operators.
- Strong knowledge of the South of England foodservice market.
Required skills
- Sales and account management expertise.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
What we offer
- Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000.
