Business Systems Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Architect to lead the design, integration and optimisation of our core enterprise systems. The role will shape the business systems strategy, ensuring technology drives growth, efficiency and competitive advantage across manufacturing, supply chain and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture, administration and continuous improvement of the IFS Cloud ERP platform.
• Design and deliver scalable system architecture supporting future business growth.
• Develop and maintain secure API integrations between internal systems, legacy applications and third‑party platforms.
• Enhance existing business platforms and standardise efficient processes.
• Own the organisation’s overall systems architecture, ensuring seamless, secure integration.
• Collaborate with suppliers and technology partners to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into technology solutions and drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate, implement and integrate AI technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives around advanced barcoding, QR technologies and product traceability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture and ERP platform management, preferably IFS Cloud.
• Strong background in designing and integrating complex business systems.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and external technology partners.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering digital transformation projects.
