About the role

Our client, a reputable franchised dealership in Edinburgh, is expanding its showroom team. They are looking for a motivated Car Sales Executive to join a high‑volume, well‑established operation with a loyal customer base and strong earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with showroom and online customers to understand their vehicle needs.
• Guide customers through the entire purchasing process, from enquiry to handover.
• Meet and exceed individual sales and finance targets.
• Present and upsell warranty packages, service plans, and insurance options.
• Conduct accurate vehicle valuations and manage part‑exchange procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive customer records and follow‑up systems to generate repeat business.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, preferably within a main dealer or franchise environment.
• Target‑driven with a professional and approachable manner.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence discussing finance options and upselling value‑added products.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Enthusiastic team player committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
