About the role

Greene King is hiring a part-time Chef for its Peacock Inn in Forhill. The role suits someone with a passion for food who wants to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen and become an important member of the kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food that meets specifications and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to protect the team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with the team so meals are delivered to customers on time.
• Keep up to date with new products, menus and promotions.

Required profile

• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team.
• Passion for delivering tasty, well-presented meals every time.
• Willingness to get stuck in, learn new skills and help in different parts of the kitchen.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to work safely and understand allergen controls.
