City Lead – Glasgow

About the role

Ember is looking for a dynamic leader to head its Driver and Hub Support teams in Glasgow. You will own the day‑to‑day success of a 24/7 electric bus service, ensuring high‑quality operations, customer delight, and the rollout of best‑in‑class hubs across Scotland.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, manage and develop a high‑performing team of drivers and hub support staff, handling HR, shift planning and training.
• Oversee the 24/7 service delivery, guaranteeing on‑time, well‑maintained coaches and a superior passenger experience.
• Define and implement the playbook for “best‑in‑class” hubs and support their expansion.
• Respond proactively to unexpected challenges, ensuring smooth operations as the company scales.

What we offer

• Salary up to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
