Claims Technician - Property Claims

About the role

Sedgwick is recruiting a Claims Technician for its property team, working on a hybrid basis across the UK. The role covers all aspects of commercial property claims, from the day they are reported until settlement, and suits someone wanting to develop in commercial claims handling and progress to handling every aspect.

Key responsibilities

• Handle commercial property claims from report to settlement
• Communicate with and write to policyholders, insurers and contractors, explaining complex details clearly and negotiating fair settlements
• Work alongside colleagues who will support your growth in handling more complex claims

Required profile

• Claims handling or customer service experience
• Customer service experience in an office environment
• Commitment to working towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow; the employer supports career progression
