Claims TPA Manager – French

About the role

We are recruiting a Claims TPA Manager – French for a leading global legacy insurer. The manager will be the primary relationship contact for French claims portfolios, coordinating with third‑party administrators, cedants, legal partners and internal teams to ensure claims are handled fairly, efficiently and in line with regulatory and contractual obligations. The role blends claims expertise, portfolio oversight, audit activity, stakeholder management and strategic support during acquisitions and portfolio transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main relationship contact for French claims, focusing on decennial liability, construction, property and liability lines.
• Lead regular portfolio review meetings with TPAs and cedants and serve as the first point of referral for claim notifications.
• Review, analyse and reconcile third‑party claims data and ensure accurate ingestion into internal systems.
• Produce and analyse management information, portfolio reports and performance metrics.
• Facilitate and participate in onsite and remote audits, monitor findings and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Provide technical claims expertise for acquisitions, due‑diligence exercises and portfolio transition activities.
• Undertake regular travel within France, primarily to Paris, for stakeholder meetings, audits and oversight activities.

Required profile

• Experience in the French insurance claims market is desirable; proven claims experience also considered.
• Fluent French with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure to French construction and/or decennial liability claims.
• Experience working with third‑party administrators, delegated authority arrangements or outsourced claims operations.
• Background in conducting claims audits, oversight reviews or performance assessments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Paris and other locations in France.
