Commercial Electrician – London (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Commercial Electrician to join our static site in Central London. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8am‑5pm, and offers a competitive salary up to £50,000 plus overtime and a yearly bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out first‑ and second‑fix electrical installations in commercial environments.
• Install containment systems such as metal conduit, cable trays, trunking and ladder racking.
• Wire and install power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting and control systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 wiring regulations and health & safety standards.
• Test, commission and certify installations as required.

Required profile

• Level 3 electrical installations qualification or equivalent (JIB Gold Card).
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition wiring regulations and Part 2391 testing & inspecting.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Required skills

• First‑fix and second‑fix electrical installation.
• Containment system installation (metal conduit, cable tray, trunking, ladder racking).
• Power distribution and lighting (including emergency lighting) installation.
• Control system wiring.
• Technical drawing and schematic interpretation.
• BS 7671 compliance.
• Testing, commissioning and certification.
• JIB Gold Card (Level 3) qualification.
