Commercial Finance Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Director to lead forecasting, financial planning and commercial performance across a leading production agency. This temporary‑to‑permanent position will work closely with the CFO, providing strategic insight to support growth and decision‑making in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO on commercial strategy and business partnering.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Redesign and develop advanced financial models to support profitability decisions.
• Implement and enhance performance reporting dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Produce meaningful management information and analysis for executive decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a Commercial Finance Director or senior commercial finance leadership role.
• Background in production, creative, advertising, marcomms or media sectors.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
