Commercial laundry Engineer

About the role

Join a nationwide commercial laundry company that is expanding rapidly. As a Commercial Laundry Engineer you will deliver service and maintenance for a range of industrial laundry and catering equipment across the CA and LA postcode areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and preventative maintenance on commercial washing machines, tumble dryers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and dosing machines.
• Work on both electrical and gas‑fired laundry equipment.
• Cover clients such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks and hotels.
• Travel to sites within the designated postcode areas and respond to call‑out rota requirements.

Required profile

• Experience with commercial laundry equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Valid domestic or commercial gas certificates (or willingness to obtain them).
• Strong electrical competency and relevant industry experience.
• Residence in or near the LA or CA postcode area on the Scottish borders.

What we offer

• Basic salary £38,000 per year with gas certificates, £35,000 without but with electrical experience.
• Door‑to‑door travel allowance and a £2,000 annual performance bonus paid quarterly.
