Commercial Manager / Estimator – Fit Out & Refurbishment

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Manager/Estimator to lead industrial fit‑out and refurbishment projects across the South East. You will develop a new division, oversee commercial, compliance and supply‑chain functions, and manage projects ranging from £100k to £3m.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full commercial control – CVRs, cash‑flow forecasts, valuations and project accounts.
• Procure materials, negotiate subcontract packages and manage variations, payments and final accounts.
• Ensure contractual, technical and Employer’s Requirements are met, handling RFIs, submittals and value‑engineering.
• Use construction management software to monitor progress and financial performance.
• Support the growth of a new division, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial or industrial fit‑out and refurbishment, preferably CAT A projects.
• Strong network of industry contacts.
• Proven track record as an estimator or commercial manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
• Confident, articulate and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Salary £60,000‑£80,000 per year plus bonus (tbc).
