Commercial Property Desk Adjuster

About the role

The Commercial Property Desk Adjuster works remotely to support an existing claims team. You will manage a portfolio of commercial material damage and business interruption losses from initial assessment through to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of commercial property claims, including material damage and business interruption.
• Produce detailed reports for each site visit and maintain an up‑to‑date diary.
• Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring service delivery within client SLAs.
• Meet challenging audit criteria and provide settlement recommendations.
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, contractors and other parties to progress claims.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial property claims handling.
• Strong report‑writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with insurers, policyholders and third‑party contractors.
