About the role
Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a stabilized garden‑style apartment community in Birmingham, Alabama. You will lead a team, manage resources, and ensure the property meets its financial and operational targets while complying with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services.
- Develop and monitor the annual budget, analyzing financial statements and operational reports.
- Set rent rates, ensure timely rent collection, and manage fee posting.
- Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Greystar policies.
- Collaborate with marketing to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 4‑6 years of relevant property or community management experience.
- Strong understanding of multi‑family housing regulations and financial performance metrics.
