About the role

A Consultant in Accident & Emergency is sought for an NHS client in Northern England. The job plan is based on 10 PA, with the consultant expected to take part in out-of-hours on-call commitments. The successful candidate will help modernise the emergency care pathway, lead while on duty and bring excellent clinical skills and a solid A&E background. The department sees more than 44,000 attendances a year, with a major and minor unit and a number of children, and receives patients from the coastguard and air ambulance.

Required profile

Previous ED experience in the UK or Ireland at Consultant level
CCT or evidence of equivalent competency
Full GMC registration on the Specialist register

What we offer

Base salary of £109,725 to £145,478 per annum
Relocation assistance of up to £8,000
10% increase on starting salary, maintained each year for a maximum of 4 years
