About the role

Join Specsavers in Basingstoke as a Contact Lens Optician, delivering expert fitting and after‑care services to a high‑volume customer base. You will work alongside a dedicated team, using the latest clinical equipment to ensure customers receive the right lenses at an affordable price.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out contact lens fittings and provide after‑care in line with professional guidelines.
• Advise customers on lens options, spectacle dispensing and current promotions.
• Manage appointment schedules to minimise waiting times.
• Provide clear instructions for lens insertion and removal.
• Handle general enquiries and maintain high standards of customer service.

Required profile

• Qualified optician with a current GOC registration.
• Previous experience working in an optician setting.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
