Corporate Tax Assistant Manager (Hybrid Working)

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join a top‑100 accountancy practice in Central London. Working in a hybrid model, you will support a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering compliance and advisory services while developing towards a managerial position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients and ensure all compliance deadlines are met.
• Review corporation tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members.
• Prepare and review tax provisions and supporting calculations.
• Assist on advisory assignments such as restructures, group reorganisations, R&D, capital allowances, share schemes and transaction support.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser.
• Coach, mentor and review the work of junior staff.
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors on technically challenging projects and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong UK corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience reviewing work and supervising junior staff.
• Comfortable managing client relationships with commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to develop technically.
