Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a top‑10 UK firm to hire a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager for its expanding London team. This hybrid, full‑time position offers real client ownership, advisory exposure and a fast‑track route to a Manager role.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of UK and international corporate tax clients, including owner‑managed businesses, corporate groups and PE‑backed companies.
• Deliver a mix of compliance and advisory work, from routine filings to complex structuring projects.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
• Support advisory projects, including transactions and deal structuring.
• Identify opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong UK corporate tax experience gained within a practice.
• Exposure to both compliance and advisory tax work.
• Experience reviewing work or mentoring junior staff, or a willingness to step into that role.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification (or working towards one).
