CSR Internship – Sustainability & Community (3 months)

About the role

Lidl’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team is seeking a motivated intern to support sustainability, charity and community initiatives over a 12‑week summer placement. You will work across regional distribution centres, national grant programmes and internal sustainability networks, gaining hands‑on experience in CSR delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support community projects and grant programmes with large‑scale customer impact.
• Coordinate with national charity partners (NSPCC, Neighbourly) to deliver projects and activations.
• Drive internal engagement by assisting sustainability networks and regional leads.
• Deliver in‑person CSR sessions across the logistics network.
• Refresh internal CSR content to keep storytelling engaging.
• Assist with complex operational sustainability projects and stakeholder requirements.
• Collect data, creative assets and imagery for national social and environmental reporting.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student in penultimate or middle year, returning to university Autumn 2026.
• Demonstrated commitment to people and the planet through volunteering, charity work or university societies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, preferably through leadership or project experience.
• High level of accuracy, proactive mindset and confidence presenting ideas.
• Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to regional distribution centres.
• Availability for a 12‑week placement starting in June 2026.
