Curriculum Leader for English

About the role
The Curriculum Leader for English will drive academic quality and student success within the International Study Centre at Kingston University. Working closely with the Regional Head of English Curriculum, you will oversee curriculum delivery, support teaching staff and ensure progression targets are met.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain academic oversight of timetabling, assessment and monitoring for the AES team.
- Provide performance feedback and cover arrangements for AES tutors.
- Assist the Regional Head with recruitment and line‑management of teaching staff.
- Represent the curriculum team in meetings with the Centre, partner university and external partners.
- Collaborate with Student Outcomes and progress coaches to support student engagement and progression.
- Track and report on student outcomes, implementing interventions where needed.
- Contribute to senior management meetings to inform strategic planning and resource allocation.
Required profile
- Proven experience in academic management or curriculum leadership within higher education.
- Strong understanding of English language programmes and assessment practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with university partners and internal teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

What we offer
- Salary up to £42,000 per annum
- Fixed‑term contract until 31 August 2027
- On‑site work at Kingston University International Study Centre
