About the role
This is a full‑time Curriculum Support position for recent Mathematics or Science graduates in a secondary school in Ealing. You will work alongside experienced teachers, delivering targeted intervention and gaining practical classroom experience before pursuing teacher training.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Mathematics or Science.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group academic mentoring.
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Help students prepare for GCSE examinations.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to raising attainment.
- Support learners of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL students.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Required profile
- A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a related STEM subject.
- Strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and supporting young people.
- Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching or school experience is desirable but not essential.
