Curriculum Support in Mathematics and Science

About the role

This is a full‑time Curriculum Support position for recent Mathematics or Science graduates in a secondary school in Ealing. You will work alongside experienced teachers, delivering targeted intervention and gaining practical classroom experience before pursuing teacher training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Mathematics or Science.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group academic mentoring.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Help students prepare for GCSE examinations.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to raising attainment.
• Support learners of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL students.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Required profile

• A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or a related STEM subject.
• Strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and supporting young people.
• Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching or school experience is desirable but not essential.
