Customer and Trading Manager – Nightshift

About the role

The Customer and Trading Manager leads the overnight team to ensure the store is fully replenished, safe and ready for customers each morning. You will run the full store operation during the night, handling deliveries, organising the warehouse and maintaining high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities, prioritise deliveries and organise the warehouse.
• Run the full store operation alone, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Maintain store standards so the store is ready for customers each morning.
• Manage people performance, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure accurate scheduling and pay.

Required profile

• Comfortable with night‑shift patterns and able to provide a safe, healthy environment.
• Previous line‑management experience in a fast‑paced, operational setting.
• Resilience to the mental and physical demands of night work.
• Proven ability to deliver and monitor KPIs and handle employee‑relations issues.

Required skills

• Operational leadership and store‑operations experience.
• Strong customer‑service delivery and coaching ability.
