About the role
Join Nationwide’s Contact Centre team as a Customer Service Consultant, providing expert guidance to customers navigating the complex world of banking. You will work 35 hours per week across a rotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls, delivering accurate information on banking products and services.
- Resolve complex financial queries and turn challenges into opportunities for customer satisfaction.
- Support vulnerable customers with empathy, patience and resilience.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest banking regulations, products and technology.
Required profile
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Resilience under pressure and capacity to handle emotive conversations.
