Cyber Security Architect

About the role

The Cyber Security Architect will join Raytheon UK’s Digital Technologies department, working within the Cyber Security team to ensure the organisation meets internal and external security accreditations. Based in Gloucester with a hybrid working model, you will help shape secure‑by‑design solutions across defence and aerospace projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with security standards, accreditations and control frameworks.
• Develop and evolve security architecture, design assurance and strategic security guidance.
• Collaborate with security leadership and engineering teams to embed security into enterprise programmes.
• Influence engineering practices and promote secure‑by‑design principles.
• Provide architectural input for new and existing solutions across land, sea, air, space and cyberspace domains.

Required profile

• Motivated cyber security professional with solid foundational experience in engineering or operational security.
• Ability to transition from hands‑on roles to architecture, design assurance and strategic leadership.
• Experience working in a governance‑led environment with strong attention to compliance.
