Digital Improvement Partner – Defence Housing Transformation

About the role

The Digital Improvement Partner will lead the design and delivery of transformative improvements across Defence Housing Services, supporting the ambitious £9.2 billion housing transformation programme. You will combine continuous improvement, digital innovation and service design to enhance customer experience, operational performance and value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the SEO Improvement Support Officer, embedding agile and user‑centred ways of working to deliver improvements at pace.
• Drive improvement initiatives from problem identification through implementation and benefits realisation, using data, customer insight and operational evidence.
• Identify and deliver digital solutions, automation and data‑enabled improvements, enhancing existing services and developing new technology‑enabled offerings.
• Collaborate with accommodation and service delivery partners, challenging performance and processes to improve the housing supply chain.
• Work with insight, analytics and portfolio teams to ensure evidence‑based improvement activity aligned with strategic priorities.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of improvements, using benchmarking and customer feedback to uncover further optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading operational and digital improvements in complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to identify service improvements, solve operational challenges and translate business needs into effective solutions.
• Strong understanding of digital service delivery and experience working with digital platforms.
• Experience in housing, accommodation or property services is advantageous.

Required skills

• HomeHub or similar digital housing platform experience.

• Salary: £61,630 per annum.
• Civil Service pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%.
