Director of Pricing Strategy, Central Product Strategy

About the role

Moody's is seeking a senior leader to define firm‑wide pricing direction, develop quantitative pricing models, and drive innovation across its Central Product Strategy team. The role blends tactical execution with long‑term strategic thinking, including AI‑enabled and usage‑based pricing approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and review pricing models while balancing short‑term execution with future evolution.
• Set Moody's Analytics‑wide pricing direction using data, market intelligence, and client insights.
• Partner with Business Units to implement new pricing approaches, improving consistency, transparency, and commercial outcomes.
• Establish pricing guidelines and standards, simplify processes, and facilitate governance forums.
• Support strategic partnerships (cloud, data, distribution, Generative AI) where they intersect with pricing and product integration.
• Track market, competitive, and technology trends and translate them into actionable pricing and product strategies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical background with experience building and evolving quantitative pricing models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills at strategic and tactical levels.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business units and drive outcomes through cross‑functional partnerships.
• Genuine curiosity about applying Large Language Models and Generative AI to real‑world pricing problems.
• Experience establishing firm‑wide pricing standards and governance.
