Dispatch & Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Dispatch & Warehouse Assistants to join our team. This flexible position combines delivery driving with warehouse operations, ensuring customers receive their goods quickly and accurately in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load and check goods onto the delivery van, confirming accuracy and completeness.
• Safely deliver products to customers and place items in designated areas when required.
• Represent Berwick Care professionally with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Collect returns and process them according to company procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
• Assist with unloading vehicles and checking incoming goods.
• Record, store, pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Label and assemble products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well‑organised work environment.
• Support other warehouse team members as required.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Friendly and professional customer service approach.
