About the role
We are seeking a passionate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our thriving primary school in Castle Point, Essex. This permanent, full‑time role starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to shape young learners’ confidence, curiosity and foundational skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning from the start of a child’s school experience.
- Create a stimulating, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Foster children’s social, emotional and academic development through high‑quality Early Years provision.
- Assess, monitor and celebrate pupil progress, adapting learning to meet individual needs.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to support successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with the wider Early Years team to deliver an outstanding educational experience.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote a positive, inclusive culture.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within an Early Years setting or a strong understanding of EYFS principles and practice.
- Energy, creativity and enthusiasm for daily classroom practice.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Ability to create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
