Electrical Contract Supervisor

About the role

Smart Managed Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Contract Supervisor to join its Engineering team in the City of London, working onsite Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. The role manages engineering assets so that operations run smoothly and cost-effectively with minimal disruption, overseeing reactive works and developing tools to monitor asset and building performance.

Key responsibilities

• Upload quotes to Web Quote for client approval and make sure reactive tasks are finished within the SLA
• Attend daily meetings and submit weekly staff and subcontractor rosters on time
• Carry out routine PPM on electrical and mechanical plant, complete reactive tasks promptly and keep adequate spares with inventory and timescale estimates
• Keep computer-based maintenance systems up to date with accurate PPM and reactive data
• Prepare and follow method statements and risk assessments, ensuring good engineering practice and a safe workplace with uniforms and PPE
• Compile monthly reports for managers and clients
• Build positive relationships with Smart staff, subcontractors and client representatives
• Keep all plant rooms secure, clean and well maintained

Required profile

• Formal engineering training to City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3
• Experience in a similar, client-facing role
