About the role
The position provides electrical services across NHS Scotland board healthcare facilities, ensuring patient safety and reliable operation of plant, equipment and infrastructure. The role focuses on planned maintenance, repairs and new installations while delivering quality and value for money.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver electrical maintenance, repair and installation services to hospitals and other NHS premises.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and NHS standards (STHM 06‑01 Parts A & B, 06‑01 & 06‑03).
- Support the estates function in developing a customer‑focused range of services.
- Adopt a flexible, integrated approach to the delivery of estates services.
Required profile
- Experience providing electrical services in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Ability to work safely and adhere to statutory health and safety regulations.
- Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to quality.
