Embedded Software Engineer – Wireless Mesh, LoRaWAN & RF

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop cutting‑edge wireless and IoT products, focusing on low‑power mesh, LoRaWAN and RF technologies within a fast‑growing start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain embedded software for wireless and IoT devices.
• Develop and optimise wireless mesh networking, LoRaWAN and other RF communication protocols.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration with embedded platforms.
• Debug, test and validate RF and embedded systems in laboratory and field environments.
• Contribute to system architecture, protocol selection and technical strategy.
• Support the full product lifecycle from concept through production and deployment.

Required profile

• Strong experience in embedded C/C++ development.
• Proven experience with wireless mesh technologies such as Zigbee, Thread or BLE Mesh.
• Hands‑on experience with LoRaWAN and low‑power wide‑area network (LPWAN) systems.
• Solid understanding of RF protocols and wireless communication fundamentals.
• Experience with low‑power embedded systems and real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with debugging tools and hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
