EMEA Middle Office Manager - Flow Rates, Credit & FX

About the role

The organisation is a leading global financial services firm seeking an experienced EMEA Middle Office Manager to lead Flow Rates, Credit, FX and Equities operations. Based in London, you will shape operational strategy across multiple asset classes and oversee a diverse team in the UK and trade‑support teams in Mumbai.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of Flow Credit, Flow Rates, Portfolio Optimisation, Equity, FX & EM, Treasury, DCM & Cash middle offices in London.
• Maintain oversight of Mumbai‑based trade support teams and ensure robust cross‑border governance.
• Drive operational efficiency through process‑improvement initiatives and manage complex operational issues.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk and Legal functions to ensure seamless inter‑departmental connections.
• Develop and mentor team members, fostering talent and promoting a culture of inclusion.
• Design and implement control frameworks to meet regulatory requirements and mitigate operational risk.
• Contribute to strategic agenda‑setting and participate in cross‑regional projects.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a middle‑office or operations environment within financial services.
• Strong understanding of flow‑rate, credit, FX and equity products.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
