Emerging Talent Player ID Consultant for Women's Football

About the role

Arsenal Football Club is seeking a consultant to lead Emerging Talent Player Identification for the Arsenal Women team until the end of the 2026/2027 season. You will work closely with the Technical Director and Academy staff to expand our scouting network and build a robust talent pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Expand club coverage of UK and global markets to identify emerging talent.
• Benchmark and shortlist players that fit the Arsenal Women system.
• Conduct analysis, due‑diligence and video database creation on prospective players.
• Populate centralised platforms with player assessments, projections and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with the Technical Director, Player Pathways Manager, Academy Manager and Talent ID Co‑ordinator.
• Attend games to assess players live when required.
• Maintain a systematic scouting pathway and provide CPD opportunities for scouts.
• Uphold Arsenal’s values and safeguarding standards throughout the consultancy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in football talent identification or scouting, preferably within women’s football.
• Ability to travel for live match assessments and stakeholder meetings.
• Willingness to complete DBS and other background checks.
• Strong understanding of Arsenal’s game model and player profile requirements.
