Employment Specialist – Connect to Work

About the role

We are seeking an Employment Specialist to join our Connect to Work team in London. In this role you will support individuals with disabilities or health conditions to secure sustainable, paid employment using a person‑centred approach.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with learning disabilities, identifying suitable job opportunities and removing barriers to employment.
• Conduct in‑depth assessments using a suite of tools to understand each client’s circumstances, preferences and holistic needs.
• Provide tailored guidance and coaching to help clients achieve long‑term, meaningful work.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, local employers and other stakeholders.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the local labour market and ensure services meet contractual and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting individuals with complex, multiple needs, particularly learning disabilities.
• Strong understanding of the London labour market and employment pathways.
• Track record of working in target‑driven environments and delivering results.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion and high‑quality service delivery.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £33,000 per annum.
