Enforcement Agent – North East London

About the role

The Enforcement Agent will work across North East London, visiting homes and businesses to recover debts on behalf of clients. You will negotiate payments, handle goods when necessary, and support vulnerable customers.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes and businesses within a designated area.
• Negotiate professionally to maximise successful recoveries.
• Take payments, set up arrangements and complete income questionnaires.
• Control goods when required, following regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports and payment records.
• Identify and support customer vulnerability, referring appropriately.

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Confidence handling difficult and sensitive conversations.
• Ability to stay calm, firm and fair.
• Target‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Good time‑management and organisational skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence, no CCJs or criminal record.

Required skills

• Valid UK manual driving licence.
