About the role
Reed Education is recruiting on behalf of a well‑regarded school in Windsor for an enthusiastic English Teacher to start in September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire a love of English and support students in reaching their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Teach English across multiple year groups.
- Plan and deliver high‑quality, differentiated lessons.
- Create a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted interventions.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Support extracurricular activities that enrich learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching English in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge of English language and literature.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all learners.
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Reflective practitioner dedicated to continuous professional development.
