Enterprise Business Management Director

A leading international banking group is seeking an Enterprise Business Management Director to join its London team. The role will shape operational strategy, governance and transformation across a multi‑entity environment, supporting senior stakeholders with regulatory responsibilities. Key responsibilities

• Support definition and delivery of operations strategy aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement of operating models, governance structures and decision‑making frameworks.
• Lead the end‑to‑end governance cycle, including planning, drafting and quality assurance of board papers, committee materials, executive reports and regulatory packs.
• Establish and embed governance standards, templates, timelines and quality thresholds across departments.
• Maintain a forward governance calendar linked to business milestones and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory requests, internal audits and assurance activities, ensuring clear and auditable documentation.
• Partner with risk functions to align governance outputs with risk controls and non‑financial risk considerations.
• Act as central coordination point between operations teams and wider business functions, building relationships with senior leaders.
• Challenge and enhance materials to improve clarity, consistency and strategic narrative for executive storytelling.
• Support oversight of cost management, headcount allocation, resource distribution, reporting, performance tracking and communication.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial services, preferably in COO or Business Management roles.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive governance and transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management in a banking environment.
