EV Electrician – Birmingham (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified electrician to join a fast‑growing EV charging company in Birmingham. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing electric vehicle charging points across a local 40‑mile patch.

Key responsibilities

• Install up to two EV charging points per day.
• Diagnose and repair existing charging stations.
• Carry out routine testing and maintenance of charging circuits.
• Travel across Birmingham and surrounding areas using a company van.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline.
• 18th Edition wiring regulation certification.
• Proven experience with EV charging installations.
• Based in Birmingham or the surrounding area.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• EV charging point installation.
• EV charger diagnostics and repair.
• Electrical testing of charging circuits.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring standards.
