Event Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Event Operations Manager to own the end‑to‑end delivery of our international events, from concept through to on‑site execution. This hybrid role combines strategic planning with hands‑on operational management across a portfolio that spans Europe, Asia, the US and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of events ranging from intimate gatherings of 20 attendees to large‑scale conferences of up to 1,000 guests.
• Support the Head of Event Operations in forecasting and planning budgets and resource requirements for upcoming events.
• Source, negotiate, contract and manage relationships with venues, AV providers and networking service partners.
• Oversee and reconcile event budgets exceeding £200,000, ensuring cost control and accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate the development and production of event branding and collateral in partnership with the graphic designer.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing international events or large‑scale conferences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets of £200,000+ and deliver financial reporting.
• Strong negotiation and supplier‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
