Experienced HGV Class 1 Driver – Full‑time Contractor

About the role

Join a leading supermarket chain as an experienced HGV Class 1 driver. You will operate day and night shifts, delivering goods across the UK on a busy nationwide network.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle (Category C+E) safely and efficiently.
• Deliver merchandise to retail locations according to schedule.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records.
• Provide courteous customer service to high‑profile clients and the public.
• Adhere to health, safety and company policies while on the road.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to use personal navigation tools.
• No more than minor penalty points on licence, meeting insurance requirements.
• Strong written and spoken English.
