About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive HR & Payroll Specialist to join our team in Brighton. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes while providing essential support to core HR functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless employee lifecycle management.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end payroll cycle with high precision.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in close collaboration with the wider team.
- Ensure strict compliance with all legal requirements, including tax regulations, labor laws, and data protection (GDPR).
- Calculate overtime, salary increments, shift differentials, and manage leaves, sick pay, and maternity benefits.
- Support the onboarding process by ensuring all new hire data is accurately captured and submitted in time for payroll processing.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in payroll administration and HRIS management.
- Highly analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Process-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- CIPP Certification (Mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in Dayforce HRIS (Highly Desirable).
- Deep understanding of payroll processes and employment legislation.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
