EYFS Practitioner – Early Years Nursery (Full/Part Time)

About the role

We are looking for a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join a vibrant, community‑focused nursery in Billericay. The role can be taken on a part‑time or full‑time basis and involves supporting children’s play‑based learning in a safe, outdoor‑rich environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate play‑based learning and everyday discoveries for children aged 0‑5.
• Create and maintain a safe, happy, and nurturing setting.
• Encourage confidence, curiosity and independence through indoor and outdoor activities.
• Utilise the nursery’s large outdoor space and Forest School programme.
• Collaborate with a supportive team and contribute to a positive team culture.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
• Warm, positive attitude and genuine love for working with children.
• Team‑player who enjoys getting involved in daily activities.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Paediatric First Aid not required initially – training will be provided.
