Field Sales Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading engineering solutions business to find a Territory Manager for their Static Sealing Solutions division. Based in Crewe, this field‑based role will manage and grow a portfolio of customers across the UK, selling specialist products such as fabric, metallic and rubber expansion joints and RKS solutions, together with inspection, maintenance and replacement services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales of expansion joints and RKS solutions throughout the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell inspection, maintenance, replacement and service packages.
• Build and maintain relationships with end users, OEMs, contractors and distributors.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial agreements.
• Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections to identify opportunities and produce reports.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of customer activity and sales opportunities.
• Support outage planning, maintenance scheduling and service projects.
• Collaborate with internal sales, service and business development teams and contribute to forecasting and budgeting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a field‑based B2B sales role, preferably within engineering or industrial products.
• Technical sales background with knowledge of sealing solutions, expansion joints or related services.
• Strong consultative selling ability and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage a territory independently.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
