Field Service Engineer – Packaging Machinery

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a market‑leading supplier of liquid filling and capping machinery. You will work on specialist packaging equipment for the cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, providing on‑site support across the UK and occasional trips to Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and repairs on packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and fault‑find mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control‑system issues.
• Install, commission and set up new equipment at customer sites.
• Provide breakdown support and upgrade existing machinery.
• Travel to customer locations (1‑2 nights per week) and occasional visits to Italy.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and testing documentation.

Required profile

• Experience working as a Field Service Engineer in an industrial environment.
• Relevant qualification in mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
