Finance Analyst - Optimisation

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Finance Analyst to join our Finance team and support the Business Optimisation Programme. You will work closely with Commercial Excellence, Business Commercial and Finance colleagues to turn data into actionable insight that drives performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting that links commercial KPIs to financial outcomes.
• Deliver analysis that improves understanding of commercial performance and supports decision‑making across national and regional teams.
• Define, validate and govern commercial KPIs, ensuring data integrity and accurate benefits tracking.
• Partner with Commercial Excellence and Finance stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Support forecasting activities and benchmark performance across commercial initiatives.
• Create self‑service reporting and analytical tools using Excel, SAP/BW and SAP Analytics.
• Promote best practice, automation and continuous improvement within commercial reporting processes.

Required profile

• Analytical and commercially aware finance professional.
• Strong finance background with analytical and accounting experience in a large, multi‑site construction, manufacturing or similarly complex environment.
• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant status, or an equivalent credential.
